since the connection centre was introduced in the Bat.

relase 1.53BIS. For this reason I decided to go back to version 1.51.

Having a couple of problems with IE5.5 involving the favorites links
and the non display of .png graphics I decided to revert back to IE
ver 5. I noticed that this solved the favorites problem and I was also
able to view the wayward HTML messages that were earlier showing as a
blank page.
I then went and reloaded the Java VM and also re-installed IE 5.5 and
ran the Internet Repair option. This has fixed my IE problem and
without wanting to celebrate too soon TheBat! connection centre also
appears to be functioning properly. At least it's been running for 12
hours now and has downloaded various HTML content messages from the
previous 'problem accounts' (the accounts from problem accounts and
functioning accounts were all on the same server so I guessed it was
not a server thing). I'm hoping that there is a component/module of
IE that is used by TheBat! So perhaps it will be okay now.
The other alternative I'd considered was that it was a particular HTML
tag in a message that was causing a problem and that perhaps so far I
haven't received an HTML with that tag in it!!! I hope I'm wrong
though.
