Hi Allie,

Historians believe that Sun, 1 Jul 2001 at 20:10 GMT -0500 was when,
A Curtis Martin [AM] typed the following:

N>> - When we make a double-click on a URL, the webpage it's open on the
N>> last browser window we used. It will be better create another new
N>> browser window to show it.. (I send the manner to do it on the mail I
N>> send to wish).

AM> This is already implemented.

AM> If you hold the <shift> key down while double clicking the URL, you'll get
AM> what you wish.

Internet Explorer can open a new window by default if you prefer.
It's under: Tools -> Internet options -> Advanced -> Browsing
Deselect "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts"
