Except if you switched to The Bat! from Pegasus - all of my archived
messages are received on July 1st, 2001 01:59.

Perhaps  imported  messages  should  have  their  Received date set to
max(today,  created-date).  This  way  all  "future" messages would be
truncated to today, and the rest would be sorted properly.
