Hi there,
I have been using thebat for 2 weeks, just for safelists purpose. I
set up 2 yahoo account and let thebat to check email every 5 minutes.
The first one is running smooth without any problem, but the second
one always cause my computer to slow down. The problem is not obvious
when I just open the program. However, when I let it run at the
background for awhile, problems arise - mouse can't move while
checking mail, winamp music stuttering, and it takes 2 second to
scroll to another email.
Is it a design flow of thebat which make it take up more and more
system resource without releasing it? Or the problem is due to too
many filter and too many incoming email? I don't think 2000 per day is
too many but since the problem only occur on my second mailbox which
have more filter and email, this maybe the reason anyway.
My computer is Pentium 3 600 with 192 sdram with 2gb empty space
running win98 se. I really need help because I don't want to restart
my computer every 20 minute just to give thebat a fresh start.
