Look here for a very good version: http://www.ipgpp.com/

here for more info: http://www.McCune.cc/PGP.htm

here for background: http://web.mit.edu/prz/

The first two sites give you many links for PGP info. The first has
the really good CKT version, which stays at 6.5.8 but will give you
everything you need and more.

Before you actually install PGP I advise you to read a part of the
manual originally written by Phil Zimmermann himself. You can download
the complete manual from Imad's page (the first link) or the part
mentioned here:
http://www.write4u.de/Extras/Computer/Sicherheit/PGP/pgp.html.

The page itself is in German but you will find a link in English down
to the left which is the introduction to PGP and its basic concept in
PDF format in English.

I am convinced that one has to read this, it will take about 2 or 3
hours (if you are a normal reader), but after that you know the
concept and understand PGP. Which helps a lot.
