Re: Your statement "American thinking can be dangerous."
I say gently, lumping all Americans together as either bad
or good is a mistake.
My America is a highly diverse land, rich with many cultures
that live together with surprisingly little friction.
Here is my own "American" thinking.
I volunteer as a tour guide at the U.S. Capitol building.
My next shift is Saturday morning. I will be there.
I will be there to honor freedom, not to promote "American"
thinking.
I will honor such people who worked for freedom as
Constantion Brumedi, Thaddeus Kosciusko and George
Washington. I list Washington last because he would have
said "all men are equal, list our names in alphabetic order."
