You will see that one option is Thread by Subject, but you would choose this only if the mailer the person uses does not know about internet standards (for example Microsoft Outlook under MS-Exchange). Better email programs, such as The Bat!, will use references. Example: This message here has the following references in the header: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> This shows your mail to which I initially replied, then my reply, then your reply to mine. With this, TB can Thread by References. Chose this option in the View menu item of the View Folder window, and you will see how easy it is to say which message is a reply to which.
