Results were: PNG (24bit): 25 kB JPG (95%): 135 kB (and it looked worse than PNG) JPG: 25 kB (very low quality, wanted to show what happens - text was unreadable) Then somebody converted that PNG file to 256 colors, and it came out at 17kB.
