I am afraid what you want is not possible, unless you work by
detecting the Date: header of the incoming message by RegEx. By that
is unreliable, as the sender's computer may be off (I sent mails from
a computer in our branch office earlier this week, and only detected
yesterday that they were all sent with date July 1 and July 2).

The easier way is to a create a filter after that date, which will
delete all incoming messages for John User.

And the better way (from a management point of view) is keep the email
address for another and monitor the incoming messages, forward them to
the new staff for action and to inform the sender. ;-)
