I don't think so. Because no matter what folder he is writing from it goes thru "Outgoing'. If you mean he then has to make a different filter to put his response back into the original folder, then you are correct. I suppose he could just bcc himself via template & that would take care of automatically placing his response back in the original folder if his folder filter is set to recognize a particular address "From" or "To" but I think that's what you said in the first place. :-) Probably would be helpful to understand his folder structure.
