Just when I think I have it all figured out:) ....

Let me continue with what I am trying to do first off and then I'd
appreciate any help. I'm sure this is a common situation...

You have a contact that has two email addresses a work one and a home
email address. Now when I start a new message I want to be able to use
the autocomplete feature in the TO field ( ctrl + ) to pull up these
two addresses to select from.

What I have tried so far was putting in for a last name something
like:

Smith (work)

and then another contact entry with the last name:

Smith (home)

(Ideally of course I'd like to be able to have these two email
addresses to be able to be selected from one contact entry with auto
complete but don't see how that is possible). Now here are some
problems...

The above situation only works with autocomplete if I start with "
(quotes) in the TO field and then use ( ctrl + ). The problem is if
the last name doesn't have the ( work ) or ( home ) ending then it doesn't
pull up any names. The other big problem is the address book does some
funky things whenever I try to back it up and restore it. I'm getting
so frustrated because whenever I try to back it up and restore it ends
up sticking the Last Name into the middle name field. (So in the above
Smith would end up being put into the middle name). So this solution I
have is not going to work.

Can someone please suggest to me the best way to get to use
auto complete for contacts where I need to have a work email address
and/or a home email address appear for the contact. I'm not opposed to
entering the contact in twice but I can't seem to figure out how to
even enter it such that it works correctly and will allow me to back
up with out any problems.

Has anyone come across an adequate solution?
Please let me know.
Thanks

Rick
