Hello Batters, my Windows machine crashed and the following scandisk produced some filesystem errors. Since everything seemed to be corrected during the scan I didn't worry too much, at least The Bat did not seem to have lost anything.
Then I wanted to do a backup (yes, I know you should do _before_ the crash ;-) ), but that resulted a "Out of memory" error. Since I used the backup before without problems i did some testing. Purging all Folders resulted in the same error. I then did a purge folder for every folder. Some of them produced that error. I copied all mails to a new folder, deleted the old one and renamed the new one. After that purge all folders worked. But after that the backup process does seem to run through, but it produces some errors like this (filename varies): "Error writing file c:\temp\batCC.TBB StoreFolders The system cannot find the path specified" I did the backup without backing up attachments, just to make sure there is no broken attachment link. So I guess there are some more errors somewhere in the message base, but how do I find or solve them? -- CaLViN mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! 1.53d under Windows NT 5.0 Service Pack 2 Build 2195 . -- ________________________________________________________ Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com
