Hi, I read G�nther Eisele's manual on how to set up The Bat! with antivirus progran F-PROT (see http://www.guenther-eisele.de/bat/index_e.htm). He does a wonderful job explaining how he managed to get it to work, it's a perfectly clear story.
However, I have a different scanner (McAfee 4.5.1) and I thought, well, maybe I can make that one work as well, following G�nther's story and making the necessary adjustments. As it turned out, after trying for more than two hours, it seems impossible to me. I can have attachments extracted to a temp folder and have them scanned, but somehow the file extensions change to .tmp and the files won't be scanned correctly. Does anyone have a solution? There must be people using McAfee with TB! Perhaps they will explain how they did it. I will be very grateful.
