I  have been using Mcafee for over 2 years (currently in the process of choosing
a  a  new  AVP) and note that Mcafee has been able to w/o fail identify messages
whenever I have stored attachements outside the message body.

Account->Properties->Files & Directories->Keep Attachments option

However  I  also  realized  that  Mcafee  will  warn me whenever I try to open a
infected file.
