SH> Yeah, I noticed some POP3 server having strange message Time Stamp, SH> Mercury/32 is one of the example. No, it's not the fault of the POP server. It's because three groups of messages are being downloaded by TB simultaneously, so I get mixed order like: message 1 from box 1 message 1 from box 2 message 2 from box 1 message 3 from box 1 message 2 from box 2 ... etc. Even with perfect clocks on all clients and servers involved, this would still happen, because of how TB works with multiple accounts. SH> The work around is sort message base on Creation Time. Well, not really. :) This thread got started when someone noted how various peoples' clocks are not always very accurate. I see many messages, especially junk/spam, with creation times of years in the past of future... - Paul +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Paul A. | NCBI / NIH Thiessen | [EMAIL PROTECTED] +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ -- ________________________________________________________ Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com
