No, it's not the fault of the POP server. It's because three groups of
messages are being downloaded by TB simultaneously, so I get mixed order
like:

message 1 from box 1
message 1 from box 2
message 2 from box 1
message 3 from box 1
message 2 from box 2

... etc. Even with perfect clocks on all clients and servers involved, this
would still happen, because of how TB works with multiple accounts.

Well, not really. :) This thread got started when someone noted how various
peoples' clocks are not always very accurate. I see many messages,
especially junk/spam, with creation times of years in the past of future...
