Okay, this works for having TB not connect or try to read mail when I'm working at home and not dialed into my ISP. But I just realized I can't leave it this way, because when I'm at work with a direct ethernet connection, then (I assume?) TB won't be able get mail at all, because it'll be looking for a dialup connection. And of course, I don't want to reconfigure all my accounts every time I move from home <-> work... Anyway, I guess there's no perfect solution to all this for my case - wanting to have TB not check for mail unless I'm connected somehow. Unless there's someway to tell TB "don't get mail unless there's 1) a dialup connection established, or 2) an ethernet / TCP/IP connection established". Dunno if it's possible programmatically to check for an ethernet connection...? - Paul -- +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Paul A. | NCBI / NIH Thiessen | [EMAIL PROTECTED] +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ -- ________________________________________________________ Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com
