Sometimes I use it, and the only file manager I use runs in a console
window (which uneducated refer to as DOS; it also contains a great
free-caret editor, BTW).

If you wish free-caret to go, use Outlook, Eudora or any other
non-free-caret mailers out there.

I do, pretty often.

Why should I use space, when I can use smart tabbing?

Most of the people I (privately) communicate with use non-proportional
fonts in their mailers (even those that use Outlook). For those which
don't, I simply don't send them nicely formatted e-mails.

Again, why don't you use Eudora then?

You mean the new filtering system (Ctrl+Shift+Alt+T), account-free
folders, RTF viewer...?

TB's editor was the major reason I decided to buy The Bat. I won't say
that TB is right, neither will I say that others are wrong, it's just
that everybody has different tastes.

If nobody uses it, there's a reason.
