I don't use e-mail for those types of attachments. I subscribe to a
remote server space service with FTP functionality. I upload whatever
I wish to upload and then send the recipient a link. They can then
download whenever they want. This is especially beneficial when the
recipient uses a regular modem connection and has to wait forever for
the large attachment to leave their inbox.
