L> "Should I dump Outlook 2000?": I switched last week and love it. Mail archive from Outlook2k via Outlook Express 5 and then into TB worked fine, contacts cobbled across via CSV files eventually. There are a couple of things I have not been able to -
1. Can't find the Maintenance mode for backup & restore - where is it?? Is it not there because I am in standalone mode maybe? Do I care since it seems to me I can just copy the directories anyway? 2. Can't see how to use filters like "InAddrGroup: friends" in an Incoming Filter, where would that string go? And where can I find the list of variables like "InAddrGroup" (which I only know about from an earlier posting) oh, and 3. I have set up 2 POP3 accounts, with one doing a selective download (which alone was worth switching from Outlook believe me!) then diverting all surviving mail to my main identity's Inbox. This in turn runs some "Incoming" filters to run highlight colours, distribute into mailing-list folders and so on. Thing with this is the filters don't seem to always run until I do a manual re-filter. Do the Incoming Filters only work reliably when downloading from the server directly into that Inbox? Many thanks for any answers you might wish to provide!
