I am confused (sometimes not hard to do).

If I create a "new account" in TB, it creates a totally separate mail folder
in addition to the main account. I do *not* want that. I want to be able
to occasionally use "List Administration" as my ID for outgoing mailing list
posts, and ETM as my ID for non-administrative posts to the same mailing
lists. I want the downloaded filtered mail to go into a single mail system.
Why would I want to check two separate mail area and its folders?

This might work for spouses using the same PC, might work for separating
personal and business, but does not work for what I want, which is a
posting-only-account-ID. I am absolutely indifferent to how the person
addresses me (whether it be List Admin or ETM) since there is no change in
the underlying mail address, simply the account ID, so long as the incoming
mail filters to the proper folder (in one mail area, not two) and I can
quickly switch my personality ID in the outgoing email.

In my confusion, since I am able to do this in OE using my cable address and
a yahoo address/pop3 download to OE, am I missing how it is done in TB or is
TB modeled after the Netscape profile system which separates users and
mailboxes and prevents combining mail download to one area?
