-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi prayan,
On 10 January 2002 at 02:59:01 -0800 (which was 10:59 where I live) prayan wrote to Michal Kosinski and made these points: > well thanx for the quick response, but i don't want to change my > password, or pay anything. just a place where i can take my password > to, i paid less than a year ago, surely you keep records... NB: This is the user group. Michal is a TB end-user who happened to know the answer. The cost for RITlabs to re-issue your key is $3. That's what they have always said and always done. It is the reason to keep your original code safe - as I believe is stated in the registration email that is sent in the first place. I understand that there is no automated front end for reissuing a lost key - it must be manually regenerated. Manual labour is not free of charge, even if it only to look a key up in a database, put it into an email and dispatch it. $3 is not a huge amount of money for that labour. I doubt that it actually covers it. Please understand that I am not speaking as a representative of RIT labs but stating an opinion as an independent software publisher. - -- Cheers -- .\\arck D.
