Hi Charlie, Regarding your first point, I have no idea as I don't require that feature and have no interest in messing around with what works.
Regarding point two, I had WGM already and had been using it for 18 months or so without broadband or proxy, ie on a standard dialup connection. I am happy with how it works, so again, for me at least, I see no good reason to change to The Bat! server mode. If WGM screws up at any point, then I will investigate changing over. BTW, I mentioned BT Broadband as some of the proxy's I looked at don't like the USB connection that BT use. PPPShar is very happy with it and they give great support too ... they're a tiny Indian company (and PPPShare is a tiny proxy that really illustrates that less is often more).
