There are programs to achieve something like this. I could write a
script for my local mailserver that checks on size and extension of
the attachment, but that would be a rather expensive solution for you.
I can even tell my virusscanner to zip every attachment. ;-) Never
tried that though, since I've got several acquaintances whom I
wouldn't trust to open zip-files.
