And this is annoying me since I use The Bat! There is no way around it. The editor would be much better if it was possible to resize this part of the window constantly. Marking a block in this part of the window and then quoting it would be a powerful feature, but it is way too cumbersome! I have to position the cursor manually after quoting a text from this upper part of the window. At the time I select "quote" the cursor should jump in the lower part of the window and be positioned at the beginning of the line two lines below the just inserted quotation. I find that the editor in general could be improved, as everyone uses it all the time. Control-Delete to delete the word right of the cursor doesn't even work! Word-for-word deletion with Control-Backspace only works within the same line. Neither work in the subject field. The Bat gets more and more advanced features that only minorities use, but doesn't even support the simplest editor features. Do the programmers read this mailing list and take the suggestions here into account or where should I send them?
