I use GPG myself with Roger Sondermann's excellent GPGShell to provide
a GUI for key management and preferences. Another very good
implementation, replete with up to date encodings and patches is
Imad's ckt build of PGP.

I recommend the PGP-Basics discussion list at yahoogroups
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) as a good resource with many
"how to" documents for setting up PGP and GPG with various clients
including The Bat!
