You can drag and drop the message to 'Outbox' for example and 'park' it
there immediately, so it get not sent accidentally.

Using 'Re-Send' I'd only use if you have immediately delivery turned off,
otherwise you'll maybe not be able to edit the message before it gets
reposted.

P.S.:
As signature delimiter would be nice, so list footer would be cut off
automatically when replying to your mail.
The signature delimiter is (as already described in list-welcome-message)
