Yes. TB! will verify S/MIME signed messages without the user having to do anything. The certifying authorities are already in the address book upon installation for the senders public key to be checked against. M> TB! has PGP-support integrated (albeit not really complete), The integrated support is the PGP2.x compatible version. This is nigh unto useless since the majority of PGP users are using DH/DSS type keys that the integrated version doesn't support. Additionally, the user has to *setup* the internal version to use it and manage puclic keys in order to be able to verify signatures. Today, you'll have to install a stand alone copy of one of the later versions of PGP or GnuPG in order to meaningfully use it. It's really not that hard to use, especially PGP 6.5.8 and above. - -- - -=Allie C Martin=- List Moderator | TB! v1.60g | Windows XP Pro PGP/GPG Public Key: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?Subject=2B0717E2 _________________________________________________________________ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iD8DBQE8yd/uV8nrYCsHF+IRAjN0AKD55LpGHJhkENGFMfgML0dWmp+kpgCbBuzi jMjSxPGWvJ50eE5KS8YFCz4= =CKib -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ________________________________________________________ Current Ver: 1.60c FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
