I sometimes use paragraphs with hanging indents. By turning off auto-format, typing the bullet in the first line, and then in subsequent lines tabbing in (automatically to the place of the bullet), the format is as close as TB! comes to fancy, for purposes of lists or emphasis.
The one problem arises when I have to insert something into the middle of one of those paragraphs. Because auto-format is off, and regardless of the fact that auto-wrap remains on, the end of the line into which I've inserted new text extends farther and farther out past the right "margin." When I try to alt-L, in order to reformat, then the hanging indent disappears. Is there any way either to insert text so that the lines will flow with respect to the hanging indent, or to reformat so that the result will still observe the hanging indent? -- JN ________________________________________________________ Current Ver: 1.60h FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
