Julius, I've used a huge number of mailers, starting with "mail" in 6th Edition Unix and various Tenex mailers, and I always felt that Rand mh was "the only true mailer". Long ago I transitioned to a Windows desktop, but nothing really was able to handle the large mail volumes I'm stuck with and the number of "hats" I need to wear. I stumbled on TB! by accident a couple of months ago, and so far it's as close to mh capability as I've ever found. I receive several hundred messages each day as postmaster & hostmaster of something like 70 domains. A large percentage of those messages are spam. TB!, with it's templates and filters, makes all that at least tolerable and no other Windows product has done that for me. The tone and volume of the TB! mailing list is more reminiscent of an open-source project than of a commercial product. IMHO, that's *good*. The users of this product passionately care about it and are willing to evangelize and support it even if someone else is making some money from licensing it. The support you get on this mailing list is superb. Ask a question and you'll get *real* answers from *real* people who have actually experienced the same problems. You'll find people answer your questions before you even ask them :-) In fact, this is the first time I've posted to the list and I've received enormous amounts of support just by listening. Hang in there -- TB! is a great product!
