Seems to me you'd need a 'selective download' filter that would match
the sender to the address book, unfortunately that's no option for
those filters.
The only work around is to manually enter all wanted recipients in the
signal box for the filter, no fun I think.

Another way around this is to download everything, let the
known-filter put all mail from AB-entries in the known-inbox, so you'd
need only check the inbox for spam. Set the properties for the inbox
to max numbers of msg's 1 and to purge and compress on exit, that way
you'll have a clean inbox.
Only downside is you've got to download everything, but I don't know
how heavy your spam-load is.
