Maybe it's only a semantics issue. If I use an _importer_ for X, I
expect that importer to import the messages correctly. I understand that
Eudora has a wrong encoding of outgoing messages but if they aren't
fixed by TB then they aren't _imported_.

If I get TB to open a Kaufmann Mail Warrior mailbox and the messages are
unreadable, would you say they are imported? I wouldn't.

If the menu point was called "View some of your Eudora messages
correctly", then, yes the importer works.

And regarding Eudora to export the messages, I agree. But then TB should
have only the manu item "Import from Unix *.mbx file".

Maybe look for the <html> </html> tags? That should be enough in most
cases, or, more precisely, get most messages right.
