Another mail client I use address this problem by implementing a timeout on all communications. Plus there is a "Cancel" button that stops the communications task *immediately*, and gracefully cleans everything up. I've been bitten by the hanging, unstoppable task in TB! a few times. In my opinion, it is the symptom of either a poor design or a really serious bug. In either case it should be addressed sooner than later. Hanging programs are not cool. ________________________________________________________ Current Ver: 1.60m FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Bug Reports: https://bt.ritlabs.com
