Norton 2001 and earlier used a POP3 proxy that they ran on
127.0.0.1.  Installation put a line in the etc/hosts file
(well, the Windows equivalent) of something like
pop3.norton.antivirus.

You probably set TB! to use it by using that address as
your POP3 server and putting the real server name and your
account name into the User field of the Receive Mail part of
the Transport part of the account properties.

If that's the case, just go back to defining your real POP3
server and User name.   I had to go through this same stuff
about a week ago, myself.
