It's not ideal, but it DVR> keeps the Bat-icon from grabbing my attention al the time. I, like Peter, use the mail ticker to indicate to me when messages that I wish to read sooner than later have come in. I dislike the ticker sprawling across the screen and I don't really wish to read any of it's content either, so I set it to thin view, use a small font, and disable autozoom. I then make it as thin as possible which reduces it to a small bar in the left lower corner of my screen. If you configure the ticker in the same way and still prefer your solution because you dislike the ticker which is quite inconspicuous as I have mine, then it's really odd. The 'I dislike the ticker' statements followed by the description of awkward work-arounds to problems that the ticker would *much* better handle is a mystery to me, especially since the ticker doesn't have to be conspicuous and in the way. - -- -=Allie C Martin=- List Moderator | TB! v1.60q | Windows XP Pro PGP/GPG Public Key: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?Subject=2B0717E2 _________________________________________________________________ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iEYEARECAAYFAj0LakQACgkQV8nrYCsHF+Lp+QCfaeYnyE5Tywz55LCnJzlGkOlf cHsAoKl5Rf6FIHCy+HhJmax7Un9sr/NR =dyhN -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ________________________________________________________ Current Ver: 1.60q FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Bug Reports: https://bt.ritlabs.com
