-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi Rick,
@30 June 2002, 18:39:11 -0400 (23:39 UK time) Rick Reumann [RR] in [EMAIL PROTECTED]">mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] said to Bat List: RR> I want to be able to type something like "someList" and have it RR> signify mailing to a list of people in my address book. How do I do RR> this? I know I probably start with setting up the group in the RR> address book, which I've done, but I don't know how I can mail to this RR> list without double clicking on the address group in the address book. RR> There must be a way I can send to this group without having to pull up RR> the address book. ,-----=[ Help: Address book groups ]----- |If you want to write to every member of an address book group then you |can use the Mass Mailing feature. This will create a personal mail to |every member of the group. Alternatively you can type "Handle <list>" |into the address field of a message, where "Handle" is the handle of |the Address book group. The Bat! will resolve this at the point of |sending and will create an identical message to every member of the |group. The advantage of Mass mailing over Group mailing is that Mass |mailing will create an individual mail to every member of the group, |resolving personalising touches at the point of creation. Group |mailing will not do this. `---------------- - -- Cheers -- .\\arck D.
