TB isn't the only program that has problems of some kind with multiple
desktops. I had the same problems back when I was using Eudora as my email
program of choice. I usually have these disappearing window problems when
Windows shutdown prematurely...for me it was power outages that caused the
most problems.

One thing that Litestep users can do when they have a TB window (or any
window for that matter) is to use the !VWMGather bang command. It will
bring any program windows to your desktop, even ones that have disappeared.
When it gathers the windows they are all brought to the first desktop, so
you will have to move them to other ones once you're done.

Here is the entry that I have in my popup menu to make it easy to do:

*Popup "Gather Windows" !VWMGather

This command and a lot of others can be found at:

http://lsdocs.shellfront.org/index.php

http://lsdocs.shellfront.org/vwm.php (page where the !VWMGather command was
found)

I hope this helps.
