Does anyone else have a problem with TB and sending large file
attachments? After 400k or so of a 4mb file, my dialup connection goes
totally and completely dead. It doesn't hang up but I can't ping my
provider or do anything.

If I transfer stuff via http or ftp, my connection can be on for
hours. Also, I just checked sending a file that's failed on me 3 times
via TB and it went out successfully the first time via Outlook Express
6.

 7/18/2002, 17:17:06: SEND - sending mail messages - 1 messages in queue
7/18/2002, 17:17:08: SEND - connected to SMTP server
 7/18/2002, 17:17:08: SEND - sending message to geldnerlm@xxxxxxxxxxxx
 7/18/2002, 17:30:42: SEND - connection finished - 0 messages sent
7/18/2002, 17:30:42: SEND - Some messages were not sent - check the log for details

Here's the log. Not helpful at all.

I checked the archives and I noted one thread with the same problem
and same OS (Win2K).

However, in my case, I always login as an Admin. Both my drives are
NTFS. There are no network shares to deal with. And TB is just plain
hosing the connection. It doesn't happen at the same place in the file
either. Sometimes it goes out at 200k, other times around 400k, once
it got up to 700k. But it has never sent the whole file (a 4mb MP3).

Between this and the failure of periodical checking, I'm about to put
TB in the trash can at this rate. For all it's great features, it just
doesn't seem very reliable.
