I've been following the threads on this because I, and a friend of mine, have the exact same problem.
1.60 worked, 1.61 does not. I have a completely stable, clean system that doesn't get new crap installed on it. Its not something I installed - its a change somewhere in The Bat crossing that version. I'm on broadband. I'm running Windows XP 2600 with all updates. Running The Bat 1.61. I have multiple accounts I check. RESIDENT Software Trilian Directory Opus (systray) BulletProof FTP That's it. My friend doesn't run BulletProof FTP. Otherwise, his system is identical. This was the SAME setup I used running 1.60x. Let's track this down. I'm willing to bet it happens with multiple accounts only. I REALLY don't want to roll back - but I can't be NOT getting my mail without any notification thereof. HELP ME! I PAID MY DUES! :) Thanks in advance. -- Shane R.
