I searched the archive on this and there was a lot on it but hard to sift through everything...
I don't have a firewall set up, yet it "seems" as if the Bat times out trying to connect to a particular host it ends up giving me this annoying beep. I like having my mail to be checked every few minutes so can imagine how annoying this is. For example I think myrealbox.com is down right now so I think that might be causing the problem. All I know is it does seem to happen as it tries to check mail and of course doesn't happen all the time. Any ideas?
