Zone Alarm and Black Ice are the only firewalls that have been recommended on a
law office technology list I participate in. Assuming ZA is out and that
Kerio, Sygate, BlackIce, and Outpost are the only ones that do not interfere
with The Bat, which one of these does the collective recommend? Are there
advantages and disadvantages to each one that you can list? Ease of
installation and use is a primary consideration since I am NOT a "techie" or
computer support person by profession and the less time that I am required to
spend on this, the better it is for me. Zone Alarm and Black Ice are the only
firewalls that have been recommended on a law office technology list I
participate in. This will be for a home network and FWIW, I will have a
hardware firewall as part of the Linksys router. Also, both computers on to
which this will installed run Windows XP.
