Hello Peter. At 7:34 AM on Wednesday, July 31, 2002 you [PP] wrote the following about [%ABnnnMemo question]:

Absolutely. I think I have to agree ... No doubt. I meant no disrespect to you nor to imply that I didn't appreciate the effort you made explaining the permutations of the ABnnnPPP macro in reply to my original post Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I had checked the help file & archives before posting my question &, although I understood the values for 'nnn' & 'PPP' I was confused as to how I could use it when it wasn't meant for any of the stated 'nnn' values. What I wanted to be able to do was to write a small QT that I could use for myself when I was writing someone to pull up the info in memo which I use as exactly that -- misc info about the person or how we first started communicating, etc. Its useful info to me when replying to someone whose name I may not remember off the top of my head. Having the memo info would give me a hint, serve as reminder, etc. It has nothing to do with reply to, cc: etc. I just wanted to dump the output of memo into the body of the msg [which I would delete after referencing it]. So when you asked the question was I referring to the AB memo, I answered 'yes' assuming you would see how I wanted to use it & reply again. In any event, that didn't happen. I guess I wasn't clear but that didn't necessarily deserve the smart_ass reply posted by Doyle with which you agreed. Over the time I have subscribed to this list I have maintained a courteous presence & intend on continuing that presence. I try to be helpful when I can as others have been helpful with me. If I had received a one word answer to a direct question & I didn't understand it, I would have asked for clarification. Anyway, now that I have said my piece, I again thank you, Peter, for the help you've provided me on a number of occasions. I do appreciate your efforts. -- Jan Rifkinson Ridgefield, CT USA TB!
