Because if you use a PGP/GPG version (rather then the internal implementation)
then it uses that versions key manager to handle it.

As far as I can tell, the IMPORt facility is for the internal implementation.

I've never had to import my key to use PGP with the bat (6.5.8ckt beta 9)
