Interesting point. I tend to respond in formats that recipients
prefer. I've rarely had to correspond with individuals who really
prefer HTML posts, even though they post in HTML. In fact, I've more
often been complimented on my in-line method of replying with
inquiries on how I manage to do it so well, especially with regards to
the re-flowing of quoted fragments of original text.

Elaine, ETM, expressed her preference for top posting and why, on this
list. I wrote to her off-list recently and top replied while doing so.
I'll do the same for you if I remember your preference when the time
comes. :)
