Yesterday it was 44 pieces, that's about average & *all* of it goes to trash. I can't remember the last time that a piece of junk ended up in $KNOWN$ or Inbox. The only time I spend is a cursory look @ the one trash folder as a double check before purging. There may be a more efficient way but the system works for me.
