Apologies for OT question, but you lot are the group of people I reckon are most likely to be able to sort this out simply.
We just got a laptop computer & have started to use it for email etc. Small problem with the dial-up connection. The box for the dial-up appears without the password, I type in the password, click the button for "Remember password", & dial-up. No problem. Next time I go to dial-up, the password box has about six characters more than my password & the connection is refused. Have tried resetting it several times. Any ideas?
