TB can do that. You can move the received message to the outbox, edit
it and move it back to the folder where you got it from or to the
folder you want to save it. Unfortunately the original headers
(received, message-id, date of creation) are lost.
No need to send it. As a safeguard it works rather well, so that you
won't edit message accidentally.
