Define it _objective_, not only "I think a thread is ...", define _all_ criteria that lead to 'a message belonging to a thread'. Now take these criteria you defined and do a virual 'select whole thread (which this message belongs to)' for every one. Now tell me the difficulties when having in mind there are four possibilities to visualize threads in TB! with 'select thread' ...
