Thanks to Andre and Roelof for their quick answer. This mailling list
is amazing !

I understand this is a feature, but I would just suggest that this
feature is, in next version of TB, left to the user decision.

In my point of view an hyperlink to a gif, a jpeg or a png image is not a
security thread since these are not executable files. In any case
Shouldn't the choice be in the user hand ?

For the rest of TB I have nothing to say, it is just a crazy amazing
piece of software that is my best investment for years (the previous
one being switching from win98 to w2k - a decision that saves me
hundreds of hours of computer maintenance yearly) !
