So, we have a definitive answer at last! RW> I'm sure I unselected Autowrap so that I could format my RW> messages more the way I wanted them Well, why should the auto-wrap constrain you? Make the margin wide enough (incoming message autowrap on view is constrained by view window width and not by column) to not impeded the way you want to work and you'll have no problem. Anyway, you know what a PITA it is to see messages that are badly wrapped, so why not have a reminder to wrap yours properly <g>? RW> and, anyway, why should Editor settings affect the message RW> window - although they patently do? A very good question my friend and one that should, perhaps, be reported as a bug. RW> So the problem is obviously the autowrap setting. Do you mean, RW> by your response, that it doesn't matter what the autowrap RW> settings are if you use the MT and RTV? No, I was just detailing what view method I use in case any of those aspects had a bearing on whether or not messages wrap to the view window. Clearly they don't. RW> At least I have all messages wrapping now which is useful, RW> thanks.
