it was weird. I changed the registry setting, and it came back invalid
data. SO, I restarted TB, no ticker, and the registry was back to the
old data. I changed it to top&left=476 and restarted TB...no ticker.
checked registry, data still intact. rebooted, and TICKER!

not when there is other lines & sentences I hope!
the ticker is just too easy to use & configure, especially with multiple
accounts and 50-100+ messages a day on too many lists. Without the
ticker, finding the folders where the new messages have been placed is
VERY painful!!!!!!!!!!!!  or is it that using the ticker makes life just
soooo much easier;)
